The Dairy Free Superbowl Snack
Happy Superbowl! For those few who are dairy impaired, here’s the perfect dish for your Suprbowl snack!
It’s a nacho dish, packed full of pulled pork, beans, and whatever else you want to throw in! The dairy- free secret? Goat cheese! It’s no Velveeta, but the goat cheese certainley adds extra punch, and compliments the barbecued pulled pork quite nicely.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pulled Pork
- 2 Onions
- Nacho chips
- Goat chesse
- Bell peppers
- Black beans
I made this dish a few days in advance to be sure the goat cheese wouldn’t effect my husband (it didn’t!!!), so I had the time to crockpot my pulled pork. If you want to crock pot yours, put all the pork in your crockpot with 1/2 a can of beer and one onion.
If not, cook it how you typically would!
Here’s the prep steps:
- Get a roasting pan (2 inches deep, what you would typically make brownies in)
- Layer your dip with your beans, pork, peppers, onions, and goat cheese
- Bake dish in the oven until the top turns light brown
- Cover in jaleponos and salsa
And Tada! You have an amazing dish anyone at your Superbowl party can eat! And even those who aren’t allergic to dairy love it!
